Training

Unlike many software vendors, Cubicorp does not exploit training for the sake of generating additional revenues. Training is the vehicle to efficient use of our software solutions by our customers. As with any enterprise system implementation, competent users of the software are a critical success factor to the overall success of the business solution. Therefore, a comprehensive training plan is developed as part of the deployment blueprint.

Without diminishing the importance of thorough training, our concerted goal is to minimize time and money spent in formal training exercises by emphasizing hands-on training of key users within the real-world application of our products in the customer's business environment, as part of the implementation. Experience has shown us that this approach accelerates the implementation, reduces training costs and allows our customers to become self-sufficient as a result of a very intensive knowledge transfer process. 

Cubicorp training prepares the customer’s end-users and IT support staff to maximize the payback on the investment in a Cubicorp solution. Also, formal training is provided to key users, subject matter experts (SMEs) and the general user community prior to cutting over to the Cubic software solution, with additional ongoing training as and when required.

Other than formal training, Cubicorp also employs a “train-the-trainer” approach at the customer’s option, whereby Cubicorp staff provides hands-on, in-depth training to customer key users and SMEs, who eventually take ownership of the end user training function and in turn, train the general user community. This is especially useful for training on “delta” functionality when upgrading to a new release of the software.

Our IT support training also provides customer IT staff with a hands-on experience in key activities necessary to successfully install, upgrade and administer the ongoing operation of a Cubic solution. 

Additionally, Cubicorp software products are delivered standard with self-guided online training to assist new employees in learning basic system operations, to provide a handy reference when managers, supervisors and other staff need to stand in for absent colleagues, or for refresher courses of customer staff between major releases.
